• Does Adaro have coal blending facilities?
  Blending facilities are available at the Pulau Laut Coal Terminal for blending with other producers’ coal.
  
• Where do we wash the coal?
  No washing is required as the ash content of the ROM coal is 1.5% ash or less
  
• Do we blend our coal?
  No blending is required as sulphur and ash are consistent throughout all the seams.
  
• Do we have any restrictions on where we can sell?
  No, our coal cooperation agreement with the Indonesian Government contains no market restrictions.
  
• Will the coal heat during shipment?
  If ship’s hatches are properly sealed no heating will occur.
  
• Where is coal analysis carried out?
  Coal analysis by independent surveyors is carried out at our 3 loading points, Kelanis for barging and the Banjarmasin anchorage and the Pulau Laut Terminal for export shipments.
  
• Do we plan to increase production from our mining operation?
  Yes, production capacity will increase to 80 million tonnes by 2012.
  
• What notice period is needed to buy coal?
  Adaro only sells on a contract basis, not spot.
  
• What is Adaro’s method of coal pricing?
  Adaro sells at prevailing market prices set by price negotiation
