Sustainable Future

In addition to the steady increase in the opportunities provided to local labour, sub-contractors and suppliers, new projects will continue to be developed with an emphasis on developing uncultivated land and rehabilitated mine areas to achieve sustainable development for projects such as animal husbandry, fish farming, rice field establishment and small holder plantations for rubber and palm oil.

Adaro will also continue to be involved in direct infrastructural development such as the construction, renovation and maintenance of public facilities as well as construction of dams and canals for land irrigation schemes.

Support will be ongoing for public health and education by supporting rural health programs and providing teacher support and scholarships for elementary, junior and high school students.
